【進口低溫截止閥】工作原理：
(1)低溫閥門進口低溫截止閥的長閥桿具有保護低溫閥門填料函的功能，因為填料函的密封性是低溫閥的關鍵之一。該填料函處如果泄漏，將降低保冷效果，導致液化氣體氣化。在低溫狀態(tài)下隨著溫度的降低，填料彈性逐漸消失，防漏性能隨之下降，由于介質滲漏造成填料與閥桿處結冰，影響閥桿正常操作同時也會因閥桿上下移動而漿填料劃傷，引起嚴重泄漏。因此要保證填料臬部位的溫度在8℃以上。
(2) 低溫閥門的長閥桿蓋結構便于纏繞保冷材料，防止低溫閥門冷能損失。
(3) 低溫閥門進口低溫截止閥的長閥桿便于閥門主件通過閥蓋拆下進行快速更換。由于設備冷段中的工藝管道和閥門經常裝設在'冷箱'中，長頸閥蓋可以穿過'冷箱'壁伸出。更換閥門主件時，只需通過閥蓋進行拆換，而不需拆卸閥體。閥體與管道焊接成一體，盡可能地減小了冷箱的滲漏，保證了閥門的密封性。
